Alfie is a 10 month old Wire Fox Terrier. He weighs about 17 pounds. Poor
Alfie spent most of his 10 months chained up in a back yard before he came
into our rescue.
Alfie is a terrific dog. It is such a shame that his former owners did not see his
potential. He has met most of the neighborhood children. He sits and wags
his tail as the kids pet him. He loves to run and play with the other dog in his
foster family. Alfie currently lives with 2 dogs, and with young children (age 2
years and 5 years) at his foster home.
He does great in the crate, very quiet, not a barker. He would be a great
addition to a family.
Please note that Alfie has a very strong prey drive and will need a home with
a fenced yard. He LOVES the chipmonks and squirrels a little too much, and
will take off on a chase with no notice.
Alfie is AKC registered - although he doesn't care one bit (but his papers will
be given to his new family).
