MEET POPPET!!! ADOPTED!
Look at this handsome little man!! Say hello to
Poppet! This little pom baby is only 10 months old
and only weighs about 5 pounds. His coat is red with
black tips - we think they call it Sable. He is up to date
on his shots and neutered. Poppet has luxating
patellas. He had surgery on the first knee done on
October 17th, and the second one will be done on
November 7th. He recovered just fine from the first
one and we expect he will do fantastic once he is all
through with his surgeries! He will need a little time to
recover, but then will be better than new!
He is full of energy and a bundle of joy! Poppet had
been shaved in a "lion cut" but we have evened out all
of his fur to get rid of the mats he still had - isn't he a
dapper little fellow??!!
Poppet is house trained already and loves other dogs
(we don't know about cats). He wants to play, play,
play so another little one for company or an active
family would be perfect.
Don't let his need for knee surgery to put you off!
Once he has recovered, he will be good as new - and
recovery time is relatively quick. He should be ready
to go to his new home before the end of the year!
