Gosh time sure does fly by when you are living the good life. Foster Mom said that we were way behind in doing an update on me...So here goes. Not much has changed, I am healthy, no problems with my heart, I still love to eat, lay around, take naps with my friends. The only time I bark is when I hear my dinner being put in my bowl and then I get so excited, I spin in my eating crate until I get my food. I am a bit on the chubby side, but that's ok, cause my FM says there is more to love. I am not doing so well with my house training...I really don't like doing stairs either, so if FM takes me outside to go potty, I just stand there looking miserable and then she feels sorry for me and brings me in. Boy do I have her number. I know that I need to start working seriously in that area, but I am not sure I can do it. My new family would need to have patience with me and love me for who I am.
11-29-10 My name is Hailey. I don't photograph very well, but I really am a beautiful three year old Shih Tzu young lady. I weigh about 16 pounds. I joined JATR last August, and during my first Dr visit, a mitral valve problem was found with my heart. I had to go see a Cardiologist Dr who did what he told me was a echo cardiogram...boy was I lucky. The test showed that the problem was only mild and I don't need to take any medicine.. But when I have any dental done, I have to take antibiotics before my appointment. Just like humans do. So, when you see my picture remember, I look scared, but I am pretty brave for being from a commercial breeding facility. I was so scared at first that I used to growl every time someone touched me, but now I just "love" being held and enjoy attention. I never ever growl anymore.
Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Requires a yard, Likes to play with toys, Timid, Affectionate
