Little Ella is an 8 pound Chihuahua. She was abandoned in a park. This poor little
girl is being treated for an ear infection and a bladder infection. Once those clear
up she will be brought up to date on her vaccines and spayed and will be available
for adoption.

It looks like this little girl has had chronic ear infections as there is some scaring in
her left ear, so she will need an owner willing to keep a watchful eye on her ears.

Ella is 8 - 10 years young and will need a family with no small children (under 5
years old). Miss Ella loves to be held and cuddled. She is a bit shy, but will let
anyone pick her up and give her kisses. It just may take a few minutes before she
will kiss back. This little girl would make a great companion in a quiet home. She
seems to do OK around both women and men, and is doing OK around the other
dogs here so far.

Please consider giving this very special lady a forever home. If you want a little one
that loves to be carried around and follows you everywhere, then please consider
Ella!
This sweet little girl was found trying to steal some food from a
garbage can.
When she was brought into the shelter, it was discovered her front leg
had at one time suffered a terrible injury.  Her poor little foot was bent
at an odd angle, and the skin and tissue had begun to die.  The
shelter brought her into the vet hospital, and rescue was able to take
her in to try and get her the help she needed.
We do not know how long this little girl suffered, but we do know just
how sweet she is.
Thankfully some kind folks at the vet hospital realized just how
wonderful this little girl was, and convinced the vets to help her.
X-rays were taken and it was discovered that her leg had been badly
broken and was not fixable.  The only thing to be done was to remove
her leg.  But, there were no funds to help pay for the surgery she
needed.  There was no way we could wait - her little leg was rotting
away before our eyes!  Thanks to a kind and caring hospital
employee, we were able to "borrow" the funds needed to help this
baby girl.
Can you help this little girl?  The surgery to remove her leg cost
hundreds of dollars.   ANY donations to her care would be greatly
appreciated.  To donate, please click the PayPal "Make a Donation"
button on the left.
As you can see by her pictures, the surgery was done, and she is
healing very well.  In a matter of days this sweet little one will be ready
to go to a new forever home.  Could you be that home?  If you are
interested in making a donation or in adopting little Gypsy, please
send an email to savejustone@yahoo.com.
Gypsy does well around other dogs, but is a bit questionable around
cats.  Due to her size and her current injury she would do best in a
home with older children.  While we are not sure just what breeds
might make up her parentage, we think she is a Papillion mix.  She
looks like a tiny version of a collie, with big beautiful ears.
Gypsy is up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed.  Now all
she needs is a loving and happy home.
Thanks!
Roscoe is one very happy puppy! You may have seen him featured on
Channel 10 News. This little man is only about 10 months old and full of
life. He is a tiny boy, weighing only about 9 pounds. He needs a family
where he can play, run, and do fun things. Roscoe is crate trained, loves
EVERYONE and can't wait to be your very best friend. Roscoe needs a
little more work on his manners - no one told him it was not OK to jump up
to say hello, but he is getting better every day. He loves to learn and is
super smart. Roscoe has been neutered and is up to date on his shots.
He would do great in a home with older kids that can include him in their
lives, and would even do great with another dog as a playmate.

Roscoe is not a barker, and will do anything for you if you just promise to
throw that tennis ball ONE MORE TIME!!

GUMBY
Say hello to Gumby.  This poor little man was found roaming the
streets. Anyone who picks him up instantly becomes his best friend.
All this tiny boy wants is a warm lap to snuggle in.

Due to years of neglect Gumby had a horrible infection in his mouth
and needed surgery to remove most of his teeth.   Do you have a
place in your heart and hands for this tiny little guy?

Gumby weighs only 8 pounds and looks like a chihuahua boston or
maybe pug mix - but who knows for sure.  He is as cute as a button!
We are guessing his age at about 8 years.

Check back often for more updates on Gumby.  If you are interested in
adopting Gumby, please contact Amy at rose@sirenski.com or
contact his foster mom Debbie at savejustone@yahoo.com

The vet bill to remove poor Gumby's teeth was close to $400 (imagine
your worst toothache - in every tooth!)  If you can help with a donation
to help with his medical bills, please send an email to
rose@sirenski.com, or contact the Providence Chapter of Volunteer
Services for Animals, 401-272-1639 and ask for Ruth, or email them at
pvdvsa@yahoo.com.

If you are interested in Gumby, please contact Amy at
rose@sirenski.com or his foster mom Debbie at

Meet Emily!  This sweet adorable baby is looking
for the perfect home.  i know she looks scared in
her pictures - but she is just camera shy!!

Emily is about 1 year old.  She LOVES everyone -
even gave kisses to the vet while she got her
shots!  She is the perfect dog.  She loves to run
and play, but also loves to cuddle in your lap and
snuggle down for a nap or a belly rub.

Emily is spayed, up to date on her shots, and is
heart worm negative.   We are still working on
house training - but she is doing great so far.

Due to her size, she will need to go to a home with
older children (over 8 years old).

EMILY AND HER NEW MOM
Say hello to Gizmo!

Gizmo is a sweet little snuggler.  He loves to cuddle and
wants to be a lap dog.  This little boy is only 1 year old!
He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines.   Gizmo
is housebroken and crate trained.  He does OK with
older kids.  Gizmo is OK with some dogs - although we
do know he is afraid of dogs that are large (over 50
pounds).  Gizmo is a long haired dachshund mix (more
dachshund than mix!) and is a beautiful boy!  Gizmo is
available for adoption now.  Please go to our adoption
application page and submit an application if you are
interested.  Won't you help make this little ones
Christmas wish come true?  All he wants is a forever
family to love!  Please note - Gizmo has a slight
swelling in his eye (possible cherry eye).  He will be
going to the veterinary eye dogtor on Wednesday to
have it checked out.   We will update his story then.
The adoption donation amount for Gizmo is $350.00.

This adorable little baby is Connie. She is less than a year old and a sweet little girl.
She can be a bit jealous, so she will need an experienced owner willing to help her
learn to share attention.

Poor baby Connie lost about 1/3 of her tail due to a neglected injury. But that
doesn't stop her from wagging it non-stop.

Connie weighs only about 6 pounds. She gets along OK with other dogs, and
loves to play. She gets along with older gentle kids, and would make a great
addition to the right home.

Look at that cute little up-turned nose!
