| Just A Touch Rescue was created in order to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs who are in need of a permanent, loving home. Unlike shelters and breed-specific rescue organizations, we focus the majority of our resources on rescuing dogs who have unique physical, emotional and developmental needs due to their upbringing in puppy mills across the country, and dogs that have suffered from abuse or neglect. We are dedicated to finding the best forever homes for these extraordinary animals and ensuring that their medical and emotional needs will always be met. Our animals are individuals with differing medical and emotional needs, and special considerations may be required regarding a home placement. Our focus is on abused and neglected dogs, dogs with special needs, and dogs from puppy mills. Some may require extra medical attention, some have physical or emotional disabilities, but all require patience, love and attention. They all need the touch of a loving hand and a caring heart .... |

| "Can you help us? My name is Cassie, and I am only 1 year old. I spent that entire 1st year living in a puppy mill. I am now free! And living here in RI with some of the other dogs from the puppy mill. We are so thankful to be free, but we need your help! My friends Channel, a wonderful sweet old lady, and Little Orphan Annie, a funny happy young lady, are all having some trouble with our hearts. You see, we have a very bad worm that has moved into our hearts. It is making it hard for us to be as happy and as active as we can. Our hearts are full of heart worms - and we so want our hearts to be full of just the love we have to give and receive. Can you help the rescue people help us? Our heart worm treatments are going to cost between $600 and $800! Won't you help us? Even a tiny donation will help to save our big hearts. You can be our special heros - our Earth Angels!
