THIS IS MIRACLE (Mira for short).
This poor baby is very sick. Can you help? Right now she is in an
emergency hospital on IV fluids, IV antibiotics, and in isolation and on
oxygen.
We named her Miracle (Mira for short). Mira is only a few weeks old. She
came into the hospital seizing and with an extremely low blood sugar. She
currently has an upper respiratory infection, hook worms, and round worms
which she is being treated for. She is having to be fed with a syringe every
few hours. When she came in to the hospital she was vomiting and bleeding
from her little nose and mouth. Thankfully she seems to be getting better,
but now has diarrhea. We are concerned that her upper respiratory infection
may turn into pneumonia.
Just A Touch Rescue saved this little girl from being euthanised and took in
this little baby to try and get her the medical attention she needs. Can you
help? Please, any donation will go directly to the hospital for her care. If
you can not donate funds, please send her your prayers and healing
thoughts.
Once this little girl is well and healthy she will be available for adoption.
If you can help us get this baby the care she needs, please contact her
foster mom at debbiejo@cox.net for information on how and where to send
in a donation.
You can make a donation directly to the hospital (contact debbiejo@cox.net
to find out how) or click on the donation button below to make a donation
through PayPal.
Thank you.
Please check back for more photos. Right now she is too sick for us to get
in to isolation to get good photos.

UPDATE 11/21/06
MIRACLE IS DOING GREAT!!
Thanks so much for everyone's prayers. Mira is doing fantastic. Her blood sugar is
holding steady and her pneumonia is resolving. She is out of the hospital and at
her foster moms where she is turning out to be a spunky little girl! I am sure that
spunky spirit is what gave her the will to survive. She will continue on medications
and will be back for frequent check ups with the vet, but we feel strongly she is out
of the woods. We are still trying to cover her hospital bills - so donations in her
name are still needed! Please contact debbiejo@cox.net for information on how
you can help!
It looks like her foster family has fallen madly in love with her) despite the fact they
told me they ONLY wanted to foster her. They were not really looking for a puppy.
This little charmer stole their hearts! So, Congratulations to Alethe and Chris!
