Dogs we have shared our homes and
hearts with
Some things we need:

1) A sanctuary!

2)  Money.  We need the funds to vet the dogs, pay for the medicines and treatments to
help heal the broken bodies and spirits, and, once we have our sanctuary, pay the light
bill, the heating and air conditioning bills, the mortgage, etc., etc., etc....

3) Volunteers.  Once we have our sanctuary, we can never have enough people to come
to share their love with these precious dogs.  People to hold them and walk them and
play with them.  Give them these simple things they NEVER had before.

4) Goods.  The beds and blankets and towels and food bowls.  The toys.  Each and
every dog we get should have it's very own first ever toy.  A lot of puppy mill survivors
never learn how to play, are not quite sure just what a toy is for - but each and every dog
that is free needs at least one toy to call its own.

5) Collars and leashes.

6) Foster homes.  Even after we have our sanctuary - there is never a replacement for
living in a REAL home.  If you are interested in fostering or would like more information,
please go to our foster application page, or contact us for more info.

7) Money.  Yes, you did see this before.  Every dog we rescue needs vet care.
Remember, a puppy mill survivor probably never saw a vet, and many of our dogs come
from neglect or abuse situations.  We rarely have vaccination history, so they all need
vaccines.   Once we are sure they are healthy enough, they all need to be spayed or
neutered.  Many need extensive veterinary care.  Often they have infections, tumors,
illnesses that are many times life threatening.

8) For you to spread the word.  Let others know what you have learned about puppy mills
and about the overpopulation of companion animals.  Through knowledge and
information you can help these dogs.  Show their pictures, tell their stories.  The more
voices that can speak out for these abused and neglected dogs, the more people will
hear.

9) Your good thoughts and prayers.

Thank you.
These precious senior pups were
"dumped" in a park to fend for
themselves, alone and scared.
Thankfully they all have wonderful
homes thanks to a very special lady
named Amy who called us to help!
